Porterhouse or Ribeye!

Why the Porterhouse, of course!

Since porterhouse is probably the easiest answer, I'll go ahead and say skirt.

filet please!

New York Strip for me. :)

Best of both worlds - porterhouse. Although I'll admit to a fondness for a simple filet - there's something elegant about it!

Porterhouse. Oh how I'd love to win. It was my birthday yesterday, and I didn't get anything food-related! I did get a trash can that opens if you wave your hand over the top of it, but, hey, I'd trade that in for some steaks! Pick me!

Many people have already said it, but Porterhouse is my favorite cut of meat.

Porterhouse is our special occasion favorite! About 2" thick and grilled to crispy goodness on the edges and barely cooked on the inside. A ribeye of the same size would be good too.

For everyday beefy goodness - flank steak, skirt steak. I'm droolin' and need beef!

I'm a ribeye fan myself.

Love New York strip!

Ribeye, for sure

Bone-in ribeye

Why would you eat anything other than a ribeye? I don't get the people that would rather have a filet, which has about zero flavor.

ribeye, but i would love the porterhouse

Filet mignon, med.

New York Strip

I like Filet. Yum.

I'm still partial to T-bone

Porterhouse or filet

I prefer a thick cut Ribeye.

Porterhouse or ribeye.

filet mignon

I love Rib Eye over any other cut.

Strip please

A big, thick, juicy T-Bone!

Mom always cooked round steak (big family - no money). As a bachelor (still no money) top sirloin was pretty darn good, I still enjoy the flavor (only if I cook it). Now I'm married and doing pretty well. I can afford any steak I choose and I have to say ribeye (or Delmonico as mom would say) is my favorite.

Filet Mignon is my favorite, although I'll eat any steak as long as it's good and rare!

I love a good filet!

huge big fat fiorentina, definitely. or ribeye.

Porterhouse

Porterhouse, of course ;)

My favorite cut of steak is definitely ribeye. I feel that it is the most flavorful cut since it has a good amount of marbling most of the time. Porterhouse is actually my second favorite cut and is usually much leaner, but I don't see many porterhouses in stores around here much it seems. I think people go too crazy for the new york strip steaks for some reason.

Bone-in ribeye or hanger, depends on the mood

bone-in ribeye FTW

I'm gonna say skirt as well. Porterhouses do, indeed, kick booty. But I've become a huge fan of skirt. I'm also guessing that the carno-acolytes over at Peter Luger's could find a way to serve up a roofing tile I'd be willing to pay $35 for.

Thanks for hosting a great giveaway.

Bone-in ribeye!

I don't think I've ever tried porterhouse. I've always done sirloins because it's a lean cut but not the most tastey. Ribeye is good, but just too fatty.

Bone-in Ribeye

Porterhouse. It is soooo yummy!
Merry Christmas everyone!!

Porterhouse, the best of both worlds. Thanks for this contest.

Porterhouse

Ribeye, but I'd take a porterhouse anytime also, medium rare please.

Take it all off - The Strip!

T bone all the way with some nice garlic butter

I know it sounds so cliche, but the Filet is my fave cut. Its just the right portion size and when cooked properly is so tender that it can melt in your mouth. Of course, I am an equal opportunity red meat eater, so I enjoy everything from Ribeye, to Porterhouse, to Flank to hamburger

Hanger steak or blade steak can be decadent if prepared right. Why spend a fortune, when you can dine like royalty on a peasant's salary.

Still New York Strip.

The one on my plate.

These Peter Luger steaks would be a good favorite for a cold winter night. Thanks -

Rare rib eye makes me SWOON!

filet mignon, rare

Flank steak...on a salad. Tis the best!

I love filet mignon when I can afford to put them.

Been in Colorado since '91, miss the Millridge Inn on Long Island and the Sirloin Tips in sauce. Don't need a knife...bit size morsels of tenderness!

Thank you for participating, and congratulations to our winner: parkercat. Winner has been notified by email and also appears on our Contest Winners page.
