Beef Stroganoff Ingredients?

I'm originally from Russia and I always serve my beef stroganoff with fried potatoes! Here's my recipe (it comes with the story of the origins of the dish)

Savannah, GA

We were in Savannah last summer (car-free also) and loved our dinner at the The Olde Pink House Restaurant. It was a wonderful southern cusine meal. Moon River Brewing Company is a nice casual place. As far as places to see - a horse carriage tour is a must! You can catch on in a Market place all thoughout the day.

Favorites in San Diego Area?

If you'll be in a mood for good seafood, Anthony's (right downtown on N Harbor Dr) is very good and they have two parts to the restaurant - casual (with very budget prices) and a fancier one next door.

Honey

I added honey to my cauliflower veloute last night and it was delicious.

How was your (wedding) food?

We had our wedding at a french restaurant Hermitage Inn at Clifton, VA and spend most of the budget on food and wine. The food was amazing! And everyone still talks about our wedding cake. We were hoping to eat at this restaurant for our 10th anniversary but we just recently found out that Hermitage Inn closed down. We still have our memoires :)

Is there a "cooking gene?" What (and when) makes a cook tick?

In my family the cooking gene seems to skip a generation :)

The best think about knowing how to cook is _______.

Not having to choose from limited options. I can cook whatever I crave for!

Bison Burger.

I also LOVE bison burgers. The only kind I make at home. It's easy to overcook the bison burgers though, so it depends on a quality of the restaurant how good they are.

I make it for my daughter on a brioche with peanut butter, concord grape jelly, and chocolate sauce. She loves it. I eat leftovers, if there are ever any :)

Help me make pasta.

You can definitely make the ravioli without the pasta machine. Just roll the dough out really thin and use a wine glass to cut the circles out.

Fernet Branca: A Better Bitter?

Fernet Branca is the best digestive ever! It got us through our multi-course Chef's table dinner at The Dining Room at Woodlands. Read about this experience here - http://5starfoodie.com/profile.asp?ResID=25

Thanks for the Fernet branca website link, we couldn't find the info on this drink anywhere.
