Cook the Book: 'Bobby Flay's Burgers, Fries & Shakes'
As long as it's medium-rare, anything will do. Beef, turkey, bison, with some kind of cheese, onions, mushrooms, sauce. They're all delicious!
Cook the Book: 'L.A.'s Original Farmers Market Cookbook'
Last year at the Toledo Farmers' Market we had a guy who sold various gourmet produce items (garlic scapes, fingerling potatoes, cioppolino onions, and shallots). Sadly, he hasn't been there yet this year (I think we might have lost him to Detroit). We also have a raw milk cheese guy, CJ's Grassfed. He makes all kinds of interesting cheeses. Of course our honey-lady has some amazing products too. There are also many favorite fresh seasonal produce vendors of which I try to purchase items from equitably.
