Video: Squirrel Gets Head Stuck in Yogurt Cup

I sincerely hope whoever taped this, did in fact help that poor squirrel. Imagine how terrified he must have been.

REMEMBER cut up those six pack rings before you throw them away and do the same with the yogurt containers. If you can't do it right then, then take them home and do it there. It takes less than a minute to cut up the rings and slice yogurt containers.

We're not the only animals that share this planet, we just act like we are.

The Organic Milk Business Has Gone Bad: Are You Buying Less Organic Milk?

For one summer, when I was a child, I drank milk like most people drink coffee or water. Never drank a glass of the stuff after that. Whenever I would try, my stomach wanted to throw it back up. So I finally quit. Good thing my mother didn't insist. I now drink organic soy 'milk' but only if it's chocolate. Don't know why milk bothers me, since other dairy products don't, just milk.

I feel for any small/family farmers today. They don't stand a chance against 'agrifarms', which are driving out the local guy.

Snapshots from South Korea: Pon de Ring Doughnuts from Mister Donut

PS: Those dry cake 'doughnuts from a local gourmet food shop......something was very wrong with them. REAL fried cakes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The very best eating every.

"Did I have a traumatic doughnut experience as a child? (Actually, I sort of did; my early doughnut memories involve unappealingly dense, dry cake doughnuts from a local gourmet food shop.)"
If the writer of this article is a chef, cook or any kind of foodie, they should know that the above mentioned are FRIED CAKES NOT doughnuts. They are made with a cake type batter and deep fried. Hence the term 'fried cakes'. Doughnuts are made from a yeast batter and raised. Hence they are called 'doughnuts'. The terms are NOT interchangeable as they are different things.

Healthy & Delicious: Avocado Chicken Salad

I too love Miracle Whip!! As a kid we used to make bologna and Miracle Whip sandwiches. A friends little brother used to fix Miracle Whip and pepper sandwiches. Mayo, either store bought or homemade, does have a 'greasy' taste to it. Miracle Whip forever!!!

OK...the battle lines have been drawn. Not one more bad word about Miracle Whip, ok? I grew up on a farm and Miracle Whip was the dressing of choice because it didn't require refrigeration and I love it with a passion second only to that for my wife. Barely.

Spread some on a Saltine cracker, sprinkle fresh ground pepper over it....delicious. Seriously, it took me forever to appreciate mayo and still find it "greasy" tasting. Miracle Whip is a gift from the gods. :) Bob

A Red Velvet Affair

Red Velvet Cake IS a chocolate cake with a reddish color. My late grandmother used to make a red velvet cake and it contained NO red food coloring or beet juice or anything like that. Her recipe has been lost and we haven't been able to duplicate it. It was the best red velvet cake I've ever eaten. Not like todays so called red velvet cakes, with their shocking red color. Her's was red AND chocolate. Wish I could find something akin to her recipe.
