Yeah, I doubt I am going to try and bake some a couple of times a week, quick question, does anyone know of a way in which I can freeze some dough in advance for a quick bake? or at what stage I can freeze it? I mean, fresh baked is ideal i know but I was wondering.

I have recently really enjoyed Jamie Olivers new program; Jamie at Home. In the first episode of the second series, he talks all about lamb, with some amazing recipes, you may be able to get some of them on youtoobe if you search hard enough.

Its true Donut love is a pure kind of love, and as such deserves a place in every major ceremony, be it a marriages or a Bar Mitzvah.

Its about 10:00 here and its a beautiful spring day, certainly a day for a dozen donuts in the park!

Being in the UK I usually catch the dinner suggestions a little too late, but the Asparagus with Fried Egg and Parmesan was too much to resist after work, I had to have it!

Tried Something New and Different?

I have never used fennel (knowingly) in any of my recipes, I have roasted it thats as far as my usage goes. I recently roasted it along with a glut of vine tomatoes I had, and made it into a wonderful soup, the fennel added a delicious spiciness that worked wonders on the soup.

What is your cooking level?

I am 23 in human years, but cookery years I feel I am possibly a little stunted, my up bringing was working class, and whilst the food we ate was delicious, the focus was on the nutrition and content rather than of flavor.

Now I am becoming far more adventurous in the kitchen, I'm currently reading up on curing my own bacon. I see cooking now as a way of cooling down from my work life (psychiatric nurse) rather than getting sustenance.

The refrigerator............?

I have a side by side affair in my kitchen at the moment, in my previous flat I had a freezer up fridge down arrangement and I did prefer it, only due to the fact that the current set up takes up too much of a foot print in the kitchen.

I would prefer more cupboard space as my work top space it more than ample. I also have my washer/dryer in the kitchen too, so my cupboard space is at best limited.
