Nice! close enough for me to walk to. did the avocado sauce actually tasted like avocado? hopefully they'll serve margaritas at lunch time too.

Goin' Mobile: In Which I Finally Get My Ass Out to Pizza Moto at the Brooklyn Flea

A month ago, when I went, the margherita pie was $8 and 90% of the pies they put out had severe charred on 1 side of the pies. I noticed 1 couple asked for a 2nd pie because it was too charred. I'm glad they have gotten better.

Schnitzel and Things

i'm already thinking what i'm going to get next time. the cod with a cucumber salad and the sauerkraut with the lemon caper emulsion sauce. yum. and i am so glad he lives in boerum hill/carroll gardens. the problem i have with most of the food trucks is that they are never near where i am. midtown and park slope get all the love.

My Girlfriend wants Balthazar but I can't afford it!

I really enjoy Moutarde in Park Slope. Their duck confit is $10 cheaper than the duck confit at Balthazar.

From Serious Eats

Glenny's American Fries, Ketchup Flavor

A Good, Really Quick, Lunch Near Penn Station?

if you don't think korea town to be too far, i suggest Woorijip on 32nd between broadway and 5th ave. or kofoo on 8th ave between 26th and 27th street. and yes i agree with Salumeria Biellese oohhhh sooo good.

Slice Walk: Park Slope

wow very informative!! i've been to Roma Pizza twice and both times the slices, like you said, were very oily. haven't been to joe's pizza on 7th ave but i guess i'll skip that now.

Hong Kong-Style Coffee Shops in Southern California

hm.....i wouldn't consider these coffee-shops. HK style coffee shops are a total different thing and how did savoy get in that list? it's Singaporean no?

Weekend Book Giveaway: 'Around the World in 80 Dinners'

Ushuaia, Argentina - what's more incredible than to have dine at the sourthern most city in the world? also the place where one of my favorite movie "happy together" by Wong Kar Wai was shot in (at the red lighthouse).

Singapore - where else can you find a place where almost everyone is a foodie and where the Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian, etc...culture/cuisine come together.

Japan - everything from growing, preparing and presentation are so refined and detailed. a place where the chef's knife has a soul and not just a tool.
