Have you discovered any new amazing foods lately?

I'm on a mission this year to discover new foods. Durian, century egg and meal worm(!) have all passed my lips. The latest, though, is pork cheek which is amazing:

Could you give me a little more to go at? What sort of stews are you making? What meat and stock are you using? Are you using vegetables? What spices do you like? Perhaps with a little more info I could be of some help!

About: I am 25 years old. I used to work in marketing but now I live in the countryside with my wonderful girlfriend where we grow vegetables, cook and write about food.

Favorite foods: I have extremely wide and varied tastes from French haute cuisine to Thai street food

Last bite on earth: A hot dog in a soft, floury roll with mustard, ketchup, sweetcorn relish and maybe even some bacon bitz.
