some help please with peanut butter cookies.

you should probably use less butter. or you could try my favorite- a flourless peanut butter cookie with salt on top. yummm
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tspn baking powder (i think)
beat together and bake for 10 mins

chocolate chip cookies: the best

thanks everyone! i think im going to go ahead and try the nyt recipe, using AP flour, but the neiman marcus recipe definitely looked worth giving a try too. im a little concerned about all the butter but theres a lot of flour too, so hopefully the recipe just makes a ton of cookies. also, love the sea salt on top!

About amusebouche

Website:

Location: LA, Santa Barbara, Boston

About: I'm a college student, but I spend most of my time thinking, writing, and talking about food— and eating, of course. I LOVE to bake, but I cannot live on cakes and crisps alone, so I am learning to cook some of the practicals, too.

Favorite foods: chocolate chip cookies. and marzipan- out of the tube. maple syrup.
preserves, smoked salmon, bread and butter, green olives, homemade granola, fresh peaches, sushi, bacon, and french toast.

Last bite on earth: my mom's maple pecan pie- outer perimeter, near the crust but not quite there.
