Cook the Book: ''Wichcraft'

Bahn Mi was my first thought, but it's been mentioned a lot above. So maybe a good Turkey Reuben?

Serious Sandwiches: Tony Luke's Roast Pork Italian, Philadelphia

I had one of these at the Tony Luke's stand at the Phillies ballpark. Amazing. And the Philly ballpark has the best food of any ballpark I've been to. That is until the Mets new park opens in a few weeks!

Cook the Book: 'On the Line'

grilled mahi tacos with cabbage, salsa and white sauce.

Another vote for quesadillas. Usually black beans and whatever cheese is available. Sometimes chicken, shrimp or other leftover meats. Top w/ sour cream and salsa and you're good to go. Sort of the SoCal version of Jambalaya.

In Videos: Sarah Palin Interview with Turkey Slaughter in Background

Not a big deal. I don't think people in Alaska are as sensitive about seeing a turkey farm in operation.

simon and JerzeeTomato- the election is over, the messiah has prospered, you can stop pretending Sarah Palin is "clueless" now.

Dinner Tonight: Orecchiette with Cauliflower, Bacon, and Breadcrumbs

I make something very similar, only substitute a very large vidalia onion for the bacon. I also don't pre-toast the breadcrumbs, but add them in with the cauliflower and they get toasted and the cauliflower gets a nice texture. I also use whole wheat penne, but orecchiette sounds great. I think the ultimate would be spaetzle, but I haven't tried that yet.

Another vote for Olive Oil and Cilantro. Maybe someone can come up with a way to make cilantro (basil, parsley too for that matter) stay fresher longer?

Do Restaurants Get A Political Voice?

sarag22- Now you know what it's like being a conservative in NYC! Keep this in mind next time you're repeating the "Bush lied, People Died" drivel that you "open-minded" liberals like to repeat amongst yourselves.

As for coffee/muffins, is there a coffee shop in NYC that DOESN'T have an Obama sign at this point? I thought it was required.

Cook the Book: 'The Cook's Country Cookbook'

Sliders with grilled onions and American cheese on miniature potato rolls and a spicy catsup sauce to go with.
