It was alright. Nothing crispy about the onions, and not very spicy - oh except for the somewhat spicy bit I got from the TWO jalapeno pieces I had on mine.

I was walking back to my car with my son after leaving the Children's museum and saw a sign for Flour out of the corner of my eye. "Hrm, sounds familiar, I remember seeing that on SeriousEats!". So glad we decided to stop in for lunch. The sticky^2 buns were awesome and my son was nice enough to share a bite (or two...) of probably the best PB&J either of us have ever had. I had the roast beef and horseradish - awesome. I'd definitely go there again!

Growing up in CT, but now living in Boston for the past 8 years, I'm extremely happy to find out that Nepture does them Connecticut style - Hot and buttery is the way to go! Hold the mayo and celery for me.

Bud's been trying to penetrate the craft beer market for year's with their Michelob line - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelob Interesting that they're doing it with the Bud brand now too. Anyone interested in some history of craft brewing and the passion first/business second aspect Bunnyman mentioned should check out the "bockumentary" American Beer.
Mott's Selling 50% Juice For the Same Price as 100% Juice
They also sell the same thing (I think) branded as "motts for tots". Their marketing says that watered down juice also waters down the amount of vitamins the kids get, so the watered down "motts for tots" adds additional vitamins in (making the juice taste kinda weird to me...).
I'll stick with watering it down myself thanks. I'm lazy, but not THAT lazy.

Great write up! But, as a fellow Bostonite, I wonder if you have tried The Upper Crust for pizza? Or what about B.Good for burgers/fries? And there are Five Guys in MA too, closer than having to travel to NYC =)

The Phantom Gourmet is very popular in Boston and is my number 1 destination when I'm looking for an honest opinion on some local food. Plus their TV show on weekend mornings is always a good way to get my appetite going!
100% agree - I'd be too suspicious of a good review from a non-anonymous and well known reviewer.

Firefly's BBQ - 3 locations in Massachusetts! AWESOME southern food and bbq. You guys should definitely check them out/review them. Dave and Buster's used to have them too (a national chain) but I just checked and it's not on their menu.

They took a page out of the Cocaine energy drink's marketing playbook. As pointed out on BoingBoing, the marketing for this is clearly a hat tip to the "Purple Drank/Sizzurp/Lean" drink of downing prescription only cough syrup as popularized by several rap songs.
