I've watch ATK (america's test kitchen) and they've repeatedly said not to even bother with wok's because our output in ranges cannot do the cookware justice. I agree with Lorenzo, the burner's the issue and not the type of wok!

I use a good nonstick skillet and if I want authentic wok cookery I'll go to China town!

@shipwreck: I like your comment, I laugh at those people who shun ketchup (or whoever it's spelled) without ever really knowing why! People would be smart to try and make their own ketchup but to be honest I know it's not sacrilege to buy over the counter brands! Btw ketchup in Canada (a place I just vacationed in) is MUCH sweeter than the ketchup in the states, I actually bought a bottle before leaving, I like it so much!

Loco, I agree with you about Taco mesa, they make some of the best and really healthy mexican food around. It took me a little while to get used to the whole fish taco thing, I am a 9 year transplant from NY but now I love em to death!

I am very happy to see baja fish tacos on the list, they are awesome, I eat there once a week.

In Alton Brown I trust, therefore I use an electric knife!

I use a mixture of Henckels, wusthof and kyocera ceramics as of recently. If you want a different type of knife try ceramic and they even have a serrated knife now...
