If you go to the website and read the "Article Puppy Love" Rachael states that the recipe was inspried by her dog "Isaboo', it also states to check with your dog's VET to confirm a proper diet for your paticular pet. And it was the editor's responsibility to confirm the ingredients before he printed it. My dogs, are healthy and happy and have the occassional piece of onion. PS my dogs eat her dog food and love it.
