Guilty Food Pleasures
@nightowl, I am right there with you on the Utz Crab Chip (potato chips seasoned with Old Bay). I could eat the entire bag.
I also love Annie's Mac & Cheese with extra butter mixed in for extra creaminess; Krispy Kreme HOT donuts; McD's quarter pounder & hot salty fries; Ruffles and supermarket french onion dip (the kind in the dairy section, not the jarred kind - blech); Top Ramen with frozen peas added for some nutritional value and most of the water drained before adding the seasoning packet; Pringles Jalapeno chips; Chef Boyardee ravioli; Velveeta dip mixed with a can of Rotel and cooked sausage served with Fritos scoops; Campbell's vegetable soups.
I think it's safe to say I am not a food snob. I like it all!
Pantry 'Ghosts': Do You Have Them?
This is hysterical! After some thought, and a jogged memory from some other comments, I submit the following:
-Canned asparagus. NASTY and I can't remember why I bought it. It's been with me at least 4 years. I can't bring myself to give it to the Boy Scouts or the postal carrier when they come around.
-2 cans of whole cranberry sauce from 2 Thanksgivings ago. I offer to bring the sauce and someone else has beat me to it.
-Pomegranate martini mix with a tin of salt for rimming the glass. A present from our neighbors 2 years ago.
-A squeeze bottle of white cookie icing. I made Christmas cookies once. It sits in my cabinet imploring me to be used again.
-Manishewitz matzoh ball soup mix. I think it's about 3 or 4 years old.
-I think I also have some hot chocolate mix in a glass jar from some holiday gift box from a relative. I know it will suck, but I just can't toss it.
I know if I searched our cabinets, I'd find more. Kind of scary!

I spent several weeks each summer with my grandparents in Tennessee. My grandmother made the best chocolate shakes - Meadow Gold vanilla ice cream, milk and Hershey's syrup. They were my favorite dessert!
When I was a kid and stayed home sick, my mom always made chicken noodle soup for me, gave me a Thermos of hot tea, and made my favorite flavor of Jello. It's those little things that mean so much and stick with you!
