Thank you for such a moving piece and a very tempting sounding and looking recipe. I have always loved these crinkle type cookies especially if the interior is fudgy and moist. I can almost taste them already, with toasted pecans being my nut of choice. I can relate to the warm memories and the role food plays in many of them.
