Chewing the Fat: Alton Brown on Luxembourg Noodles
I've done it.....and it was good !
so utterly simple; butter, noodles, and crackers. quick to make and is now in my weekly menu rotation at home.
Should Picky Eaters Fake Allergies?
I have a seafood allergy and a lot of catered meals don't take that into account. Most do, however, prepare vegetarian meals. So I usually just request one of those instead. It's not faking, but the veggie meals usually taste better than the baked chicken and are prepared fresh.
Who has the BEST cooking show on TV and why?
I miss david rosengarten's old show on FoodTV, where he cooked everything from hot dogs to fois gras. I like when Bourdain cooks, but that's rare on TV. Alton Brown is a good entertainer and got a lot of people to cook. Then there is Emeril....not talking the big audience show, but the original essence of emeril. Then the original "How to boil water". I really don't see how Tyler is entertaining, Jamie is, but most of the chefs aren't.

I'm not one of these people who think I'm too good for soda - I had to quit drinking any soda due to health issues. I drank 3-4 a day, mainly diet coke, for caffeine. I like the taste and just love soda in general. So I'm now about 2 months into this and drink a lot of lemonaid, tea w/ sweet & low and koolaid at home. I'd still rather have a Diet Coke, but sometimes you have to pick.
