As for foodgawker.com being a more 'polished' site - I presume this means less cluttered' ? Please remember chaps that recipes2share is actually an on-line foodie magazine with hundreds of recipes, articles and book reviews. Our photo gallery is one integrated element, not the sole purpose of the site.

I can't say how sorry I am for all this...right now i still can't give a full answer but I do understand what is happening & I CERTAINLY don't want visitors blocked! Please understand that this security was a necessary move because we had a dreadful week with hackers last week, but it does seem to have gone a little mad(??) ..talking about the fire wall. I have passed this to my webmaster (my loving hubbie) and we will consult with the security company...I want your visits!! Please stay with us, we are GMT+1 in Europe so a different time zone. I do take all this seriously & personally as have dedicated quite a chunk of my life to the website and i want to SOLVE problems, not provide them. Please, I just ask for a little space to try & solve this problem which is equally as irritating to me as I still cannot understand why we were targeted by hackers and with this I suppose they still think they are winning???

I'm sorry if you are having problems & we will look further into it, though many hundreds of entries to the site are continuing but I do need to know if there is a problem.

To answer an earlier question, i am saddened that we do need this firewall and even more saddened that hackers have and do feel it necessary to deface and destroy the site - its a non-commercial foodie site.

Neither the website nor the security around it are things we take lightly.

Well, as I promised yesterday we have an alternative set up and working. I received many positive comments yesterday so all I can do is ask you to have a look and if you like it please submit your photos & blog links.
